We had ordered the fish buffet. The restaurant was on the top floor, with a view of Tórshavn. It was slow to refill when a plate was empty. A whole salmon was left for a long time after being eaten without being replaced by a new one. Friendly service, but it could be improved.

This is a great hotel with everything you need. Beautiful and funky rooms, breakfast buffet, a bistro attached with fabulous sandwiches and the like all steps from the ferry terminal and town. The staff were really kind and helpful.

Very good location, very clean and nice hotel.

After booking a Superior Room, we were relegated to a dark basement room. It had a small window overlooking an uninviting courtyard. Access to it led up the second floor, through several corridors, outside, and then up a long metal staircase to our "room." When we requested a different room the next day, we were rudely told the hotel was fully booked. (Rooms were still available on booking.com). The receptionist did confirm that it was a lower category room, but that was of no use to us. On a positive note: good beds, a pleasant shower, working Wi-Fi, and a good breakfast.
