I'm writing this review for those visiting Berlin who don't know much about the scene. If you don't like techno, don't go in; they only play techno. The place is really cool; it's like an old prison.

Okay, let's start from the beginning. I'm a techno enthusiast and have visited quite a few clubs in Germany. Tresor is, of course, a well-known name in the techno scene, and I already suspected it had become a tourist hotspot. However, that wasn't the main problem. For me, the club didn't offer an immersive experience, but rather a sterile and detached dancing experience in isolation within a crowd of people. I've never felt so lonely and alone in any other club, and this feeling stayed with me all evening, even though I was there with friends and met other people (the people I met said the same thing). I'm giving it two stars because the music is really good, and so is the sound system. I think Tresor is a relic from a wonderful era of techno that has simply reached its peak. I hope that Tresor will be revived and breathe new life into the techno scene with renewed energy (as things stand, I consider that very unlikely).

No reason

I stood in line for an hour, only to be turned away—along with the people ahead of me—by a bouncer who was so short he barely reached my nose; I could literally blow my snot onto him. It’s a joke of a club, and I’m actually glad I didn’t get in. They don’t get to decide where I spend my money. I do not recommend it and will never go back!

Don’t even bother

Went and waited in line just to be told some BS about how we couldn’t get in because we were pretending not to be in a group which was a straight lie. This place sucks.

Waiting in line for 30 minutes in religious silence, only to be thrown out for no reason by the bouncer. Regardless of your attire or the type of night, this is the standard practice for misrepresenting their club; it's absurd and senseless. At least they should do this screening beforehand. Not recommended.
