Apartamentos Schoenhouse

We were a group of six (2 adults, 4 children) and stayed in the apartment for three nights. The excellent central location, within walking distance of Alexanderplatz and with a direct tram connection to the airport, the spacious apartment, and the comfortable beds were all positives. However, the furnishings are spartan; there's no wardrobe for jackets and coats, no shower curtains (which means the smaller bathroom, in particular, is flooded after showering), and the wardrobes (only present in two of the three rooms) offer hardly any storage space. It feels like anything that doesn't add value to the listing is omitted. The Wi-Fi was also so weak that it was only usable in half the apartment. And be aware: it's on the third floor with no elevator. In short: it was okay for three days, but I wouldn't recommend it for longer stays.

Active and lively commercial street. Restaurants and cafes in a wide variety of areas. Excellent public transportation.

My money was stolen from my room during my stay, and the situation was completely ignored by management. The manager literally ran away from us and avoided any responsibility. Staff members apparently have access to the apartment, but they don’t clean it — which raises the question of why they enter at all, other than to look around and possibly steal. When we reported the theft, management showed no surprise and offered no real help. We are “grateful” that our cameras and other electronics were not touched, but that feels more like luck than security. Be aware that you may not be as fortunate.

Very nice, large, multi-bedroom apartments through Limehome. Super centrally located, easy access to public transport and walking distance to Alexanderplatz. Several good restaurants nearby! The apartment's cleanliness could be better.

Super location! short distance to public transport, and walking distance to alexanderplatz. Short distance to grocery store, cafes and restaurants. Nice large rooms and well-equipped kitchen. The downside is the lack of an elevator, very heavy to carry suitcases up and down the narrow stairs. Tired and dirty entrance area, and the entrance was right next to a bar so a bit disgusting to stand and type in the code late at night. A bit dusty and dirty in the room. Very creaky floor in the room

We booked room for 3 nights, but unfortunately, due to Germany airports striking, our flight was canceled. In case of force-magour, I've asked for refund, change the dates or partly cancelation, but they only insisted on strict booking rules. They aren't a Customer oriented company. They don't want to help you. Even if you had died, they would take money from you. Terrible service! Any humanity!

A great location in the heart of Berlin. We knew about the drawbacks from other reviews: - no elevator (it's difficult to lift and lower a stroller every time, and there's no storage space underneath); - creaky floor (it's easy to wake the whole family, and possibly even the neighbors, on your way to the bathroom at night); - weak hot water pressure, so you have to shower in either boiling or cold water. But the reasonable price and convenient location outweigh these shortcomings. P.S. After registering your information in the hotel's system (check-in), scammers tried to contact us, posing as the hotel, asking for payment card details and canceling our reservation.

Very old and dirty building. People just pee by night on the entrance door ! The apartment is dusty, not well cleaned. Kitchen, fridge, classes, everything is spoted, as sheets. The second bed is absolutely unconfortable. The bathroom is a non hygienic room, old shower where the two doors don’t stand up. Final round: we don’t have hot water for 2 days…No hotline, they jutstnappologize by e-mail. It’s a shame for the price. Just go away !
