Schoenhouse Apartments puts you on the edge of Prenzlauer Berg, a good spot for LGBTQ+ travelers who want to explore Berlin without staying in the thick of it.
There are 50 apartments here, modern and self-catering, for groups or couples. Think light wood floors and high ceilings. Units sleep two to six, so they work for a few friends or a bigger crew. Each one has a flat-screen TV, a full kitchen, a dining table, an ironing board, and free WiFi. You can cook, or you can go out. Prenzlauer Berg has plenty of bars and cafés, and it’s a quick trip to other parts of town on public transport.
You’ll find laundry facilities on site, plus bike rentals if you want to pedal around. There’s a business center, too, and a few shops for grabbing essentials. It’s a practical, no-frills kind of place, whether you’re after a quiet neighborhood stay or just a launchpad for Berlin’s gay scene.

The four of us spent a weekend in Berlin and stayed here for two nights. The apartments are clean and well-furnished. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything you could need. A washing machine and a dishwasher are also provided. For parking, I recommend the Conti parking garage at the Kulturbrauerei. It's about 1 km away and costs around €15 per day. I would definitely stay here again.
Terrible Service. On the phone you are requested to send a WhatsApp with any questions, from then on only chatbots. No chance of any Solution to any Problem whatshowever. As you pay in advance you are trapped. Since it was then over any personal Assistant is gone. Such a shame
Terrible customer service. Limehome runs multiple properties in Berlin with what feels like a deliberate effort to remove any trace of real hospitality. Communication is robotic, slow, and designed to deflect rather than solve problems. There is no accountability, no flexibility, and no sense that anyone actually cares about your stay. It is particularly poor for families travelling with kids.
We were very happy with our stay at Limehome (Schönhouse Avenue). It's a really good alternative to the usual hotels. You can really feel at home right away. The apartment was very spacious, very clean, well-designed, and nicely furnished. The bed is large and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need. There's a kettle, a refrigerator, a capsule coffee machine, and plenty of dishes. The only thing I missed was a microwave, but that wasn't a big deal. The bathroom isn't large, but it's fine, and all the appliances work perfectly. I was particularly impressed by the shower gel and hand soap from "Guest Love." The apartment is located in the heart of Berlin. Alexanderplatz is within walking distance. The famous Babylon cinema is also within walking distance. There are also many restaurants and cafes nearby. The fast Wi-Fi works perfectly throughout the apartment. There is no private parking for this apartment. Also, almost all parking spaces are subject to a fee. Then, of course, parking is paid. I highly recommend Limehome (Schönhouse Avenue). I would gladly book this apartment again on my next visit to Berlin.
