MEININGER Hotel Köln West

Perfect location for getting to the stadium. The room wasn't very clean, but otherwise it was fine. Breakfast was also great.

We had a lovely stay at the Meininger Hotel Cologne West. The price-performance ratio was good, and it was perfect for us as a family with two small children. I really like the concept with its many self-service options, but as is so often the case when many people come together, no one seems to feel responsible for cleaning up. I found that very disappointing. The rooms were clean and nice, but the open kitchen and the tables at the bar were messy and dirty, which was largely due to the other guests, and it's certainly difficult for the staff to keep up. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel's location suited us well. I especially appreciated not being right on a main road with the children, but rather having this relaxed square in front of the hotel and a Rewe supermarket with plenty of takeaway options and seating. This made for a very relaxing end to an exciting day in the hustle and bustle of the city.

The hotel's location relative to the stadium is excellent. Online check-in was very smooth. The staff was very helpful. The room was functional and clean. Unfortunately, the room faced the street and was therefore very noisy.

A good stay at the MEININGER Hotel Cologne West. The hotel was clean, modern, and offered good value for money. The staff was friendly, and the connection to public transport was very convenient. The room was comfortable, but a bit small and occasionally a little noisy. Overall, a pleasant experience – I would stay here again.

There were no curtains on the dorm beds. So, there is really little privacy, because room are small. BUT everything else, was good. Location - good. Shared spaces compensate for everything. I even liked the music :)
