One of the worst Premier Inns we've ever stayed in. Over Easter, our family, including our 8-month-old baby, spent three days in Dresden. As we do in every city we visit, we had booked a room at a Premier Inn beforehand. I contacted them by email in advance and requested a crib. Upon arrival, there was a "crib" in the room. It was broken and had NO mattress! It was loose and the bars were broken. Instead of a mattress, there was a thin sheet on the floor. That's where the child was supposed to sleep—on broken bars on the floor, without a mattress. I repeatedly informed reception and asked for a mattress. They said there wasn't one available and that they always did it that way. So I put the crib outside the door and asked them to collect it. We used the folding chair as an alternative. It was so tilted and hard that our baby couldn't sleep in it alone and ended up sleeping in the main bed with my wife. I tried the sleeper chair. But this one was so hard, uneven, and awful that I barely slept a wink the first night. I used everything I could find to cushion it and ended up sleeping without a blanket so I could put one underneath me. We told reception about this, but nothing happened. We even considered going home, but we didn't want to let them ruin our holiday. So I asked for two more blankets: one to put on the armchair and one to cover myself. I had to remind them five times, on top of the restrictions, and finally got one blanket very late that evening. It was by far the worst hotel we've ever stayed in. Every request was met with a smile, but they weren't taken seriously. What a shame.

I stayed there for two days on business and found it to be very centrally located, allowing me to easily walk to the sights and restaurants I was invited to. The price per night is reasonable for such a central location. However, charging over €20 per day for parking seems excessive and not customer-oriented. This forces you to look for alternatives, and there's a large parking lot right next door where I only paid about €5 per day for two days. So I wonder why they can't charge €10 per day for hotel guests.

The hotel's location directly on Prager Straße is absolutely fantastic and ideal for exploring Dresden. A big plus is the convenient parking just around the corner at Ferdinandplatz, making arrival by car very easy. The staff on site were generally friendly. However, a real drawback for us was the way we arrived. We arrived at the hotel about three hours before the official check-in time to politely inquire whether our room might be ready. While we were assured that the room was free and clean, we would have had to pay an extra fee for early check-in. We found it very disappointing that a ready-to-use room would only be available for a fee, and a bit excessive in terms of customer service. Otherwise, there was absolutely nothing to complain about. The room itself was excellent, very clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Definitely a good choice for a city break, as long as you're prepared for the fixed check-in times.

The staff at check-in were extremely unqualified; there was no greeting at all, even a simple "Good day" would have been nice. They simply handed me my room key without a word. The rooms were poorly cleaned, especially the bathroom, which was only partially clean. Suggestions and feedback from guests were consistently ignored or not accepted. In short: The worst hotel in this group.
