Scandic Frankfurt Museumsufer

The rooms are okay, location is central. nothing to complain about that. one thing i need to point out so others do not fall prey too is the absurb parking rates at the carpark across the street. The receptionist will direct you to park there- 45 euros overnight!?!!!! (public carpark) but unlike all the other hotels, no piror warning is given on this absurb rate (bearing in mind there are cheaper alternatives all over- i only knew this after doing my research). I mean seriously how would the hotel not knw about the cheaper alternatives for parking just down the road ? but yet still asking guests to park at the rip off area. Yes, go google that carpark across the hotel- and u seen many unhappy personnel. ps: yes i parked at the rip off place (my fault for not looking at the gantry and had 100% faith in hotel staff - before i went to check in offically and enquire further about the 45 euro fee). had to move my car to the cheaper place thereafter

The Scandic is a beautiful hotel with clean rooms and an incredibly stunning view! Definitely the right choice for a hotel when spending several days in Frankfurt. The service and advice from Ms. Geiselhart and Ms. Rotärmel were outstanding and deserve special mention! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

The temperature was extremely unpleasant. I arrived late in the evening and it was close to 30 degrees. There is air conditioning, but it is insufficient. Colleagues had the same problem. Additionally, my room was next to the elevator, so I heard this noise all night and woke up frequently. Many rooms are located next to the elevator.

Killer views on top floors, old and worn out furniture, good breakfast, weirdly odd location (like centric but like a petrified borough, all buildings are abandoned etc.), uninterested reception staff and good price - a mix of dreams and nightmares.

Unfortunately, room rates can increase by up to 100% during events. The room is starting to show its age a bit, especially in the bathroom. The air conditioning and refrigerator are a little weak. Otherwise, my room was clean and the staff very friendly. Room cleaning is only available upon request. Whether breakfast is worth more than €20 is a matter of personal preference. I didn't have it on any of the three days I stayed. The main train station is about 450 meters away, as is the Main River. If the price is right next time, I'll check in again.

Quite on a deserted road ...

Excellent hotel, just be aware that the restaurant is closed on Sunday afternoons, but from what I can see, this is a general Sunday closure throughout the city.
