On the day before my departure, I always make sure to stay near Frankfurt Central Station. The distance was manageable even with a suitcase. The staff were helpful. The breakfast was delicious, and I liked that I could make my own juice by adding vegetables and fruits. However, as a smoker, I went out several times, but a drunk female hotel guest was very noisy. It just goes to show that there are inconsiderate people in every country.

Honestly, I think it's awful to have to pay a €20 early check-in fee. We don't cause any extra work, and the first thing they tell you at check-in is that you have to fork over €20.

Overall, a short but enjoyable stay. Highlights: a super comfortable bed with a great view and a good breakfast. In my opinion, a major drawback: the hotel is cashless. Even small amounts must be paid by card. This results in a deduction in the service rating. Nevertheless, I would choose the Scandic again on my next visit to Frankfurt.
