Steigenberger Frankfurter Hof

A pleasant stay at a hotel in a perfect location in the heart of Frankfurt. Friendliness and service were outstanding. The breakfast buffet was also very good. However, the information regarding the hotel's spa and its usage regulations could be improved.

We had a short but extremely pleasant stay, very friendly staff, very good breakfast, very clean room, so all around good.

Prime location, couldn't be more central. The room has a few minor flaws that are unexpected in such a nice hotel. Service is excellent; we had a conference with full catering, everything was top-notch, and the food was very fresh and delicious. The hotel doesn't have its own garage, but there's a public parking garage across the street for €25 per day.

Wow. Beautiful and clean. Centrally located to metro and doing areas. You can walk everywhere because of its location. They have a laundry service, wakes all our cloths.

⭐⭐⭐☆☆ Unfortunately, not up to the standard we've come to expect from previous stays. We've been frequent guests at the Frankfurter Hof for years and have enjoyed many wonderful stays. It's all the more regrettable, then, that our last visit fell short of our expectations. The Frankfurter Hof continues to impress with its stunning architecture, unique atmosphere, and prime location in the heart of Frankfurt. This is precisely why we consciously chose this hotel again. Unfortunately, our stay began with a disappointment. The room we were initially assigned was not up to the standard one would expect from a hotel of this category. The cleanliness left much to be desired, forcing us to complain. While the issue was resolved, such a situation should not arise in a hotel of this caliber. Before our evening meal at the restaurant, we specifically requested turndown service. When we returned late that night, we discovered that it had not been provided. This too was surprising for us, as attention to detail and the reliability of such services are precisely what distinguish a grand hotel. The mixed impression continued the following morning at breakfast. The service seemed less attentive and present than we had experienced on previous stays. The warmth and professionalism that had distinguished the Frankfurter Hof for us over many years were missing. The handling of our feedback upon departure was particularly disappointing. We addressed the points mentioned objectively and had expected at least a little more interest or understanding. However, the response was essentially limited to a brief "Ah, okay, sorry." For a hotel of this caliber and tradition, we would have expected a significantly more professional approach to guest feedback. The Frankfurter Hof undoubtedly remains one of Germany's most renowned hotels and still possesses a special aura. This is precisely why this review is not easy. We know from our own experience that the hotel is capable of much better, and we sincerely hope that our stay was merely an exception. Unfortunately, we are currently left with the impression that the service quality is no longer quite at the level we have come to know and appreciate from our previous visits. We would be delighted to experience the quality again on our next stay that has long made the Frankfurter Hof one of our top choices in Frankfurt.

The air conditioning in the room cannot be regulated.

A very beautiful and luxurious hotel. Very friendly service, excellent breakfast, and a great spa area. However, you can see in small details that this hotel is showing its age a little.
