Volkspark Bahrenfeld

The Hamburger Volkspark in Bahrenfeld, west of the city, has a long-established gay cruising scene in its wooded and quieter sections, familiar across the North German scene. It is an outdoor, tolerated area rather than a commercial venue, busiest in summer and in the evening. Parking is available around the park's edges. As same-sex activity is legal in Germany, discretion and respect for other park users and nature areas is expected.
