Everything was great and in good order. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and tidy. The price was reasonable. I would gladly stay again.

It's currently unbearable to live here. Construction work is taking place simultaneously on several floors... They're being completely renovated. From 8:00 a.m. onwards, there's construction noise, construction workers, and dirt... In the new rooms, neither the air conditioning nor a refrigerator works... And this is with an outside temperature of 34°C (93°F). There's not even a mention of this on the website when booking, and of course, there's no discount. And it seems to have been like this for months. If you want to book, you're better off waiting a few more months; then it will probably be okay. The location itself is good; you can get to the city center very quickly and back out again just as quickly, and parking is inexpensive.

The staff is friendly and helpful, remaining calm even when things get difficult (the entrance to the adjacent REWE underground parking garage wouldn't open / the coffee machine was partially out of order on Sunday morning). They handled it professionally. The tram stop is right in front of the hotel, just a few stops from the main train station and city center. However, the rooms are very small. It's far too cramped for two people. And with an outside temperature of 33°C, the room couldn't be cooled. The air conditioning wasn't working. The pillow is very uncomfortable, as is the duvet. Luckily, I had brought my own pillow.

The location is very close to the tram and other public transport. The value for money isn't really up to par, and the rooms are small with outdated furniture. The breakfast is plentiful on weekends, but on other days it's not at all varied and very poor for the price... it deserves some consideration.

Good day... So, we were guests at the Böhse Onkelz concert on June 13th, 2026. At €221 per night for a double room (we were on the first floor), which we already found expensive, we unfortunately expected something quite different! This is my first review, as I never write them, but it's necessary here! Everything is really quite outdated. At reception, we were told it was undergoing renovations and several rooms were new, but why pay the same for a run-down, ancient room as for a brand new one? The worst part, however, was the more than 15 moths on the bed and all the walls, which we immediately reported to reception and asked for a different room, but it was fully booked. The customer is king... If I, as the owner, had offered breakfast, which, given the exorbitant price, had to be booked separately! That would have been fair, or a discount, but there was no way around it. When we got home, two moths flew out of my suitcase. Sorry, but we found it appalling! I read the description of the bed, and when I got in, all four corners of the mattress were curled up. And no, I don't weigh 100 kg! You can see from the other reviews and the unfinished pictures that I'm not exaggerating! The table, wardrobe, and chairs are all shabby and worn out, and yes, I agree with the others here who say it's all from the 80s! And if you're lying on the ground floor next to a green area with a wildflower meadow, a fly/mosquito net would be essential! So, we won't be coming back! Regards

We were in Leipzig for a Dota Kehr concert at the Geyers Waldbühne open-air theater and chose the Hotel Leipzig Nord – a really great choice! The location is fantastic: we only had to walk a few minutes through the park to the theater. There's also a train station right in front of the hotel, making it quick and easy to get into the city. Right next door, there's a savings bank, a Rewe supermarket, and numerous restaurants and snack bars, including burger joints, Domino's, and much more. We also found it convenient that e-scooters (Voi) were available directly across the street. We used them to easily get to the Westhafen (West Harbor) later on. The hotel is currently being renovated, and we were lucky enough to stay in one of the newly renovated rooms. We really liked the amenities: a large TV, an iron, a hairdryer, a modern and stylish bathroom, and a very comfortable bed. Everything was clean and well-maintained. Overall, we felt very comfortable and would gladly stay here again on our next visit to Leipzig. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
