Hotel Ciasa Lorenzi

We spent two nights at this hotel in preparation for and during the Alta Via One Route. The reception staff Leucha and Serena could not have been kinder sorting out arrangements and storage of luggage. The hotel / rooms were very comfortable and the breakfasts superb. What made the stay was the genuine interest and help the staff gave to us- a real family atmosphere . Many thanks Leucha and Serena - Linda+ Joy X

Room without air conditioning. There is a bathtub, but no shower. No good views.

Our 5 days at the Chiasa Lorenze Hotel were truly the epitome of satisfaction ❤️ I want to thank Serena once again for her consistently kind and professional service, as we exchanged many emails since booking last November! Our family stayed in rooms 106 and 107 (on the 3rd floor in Korean terms) and had Tofana views. Room 106 was a standard double room, while Room 107 was a deluxe double room with a very spacious area complete with a bathtub and sofa. We unpacked our large luggage in the extra space of Room 107, allowing our whole family to spend a comfortable time in the two adjacent rooms. The beds were a bit narrow in width but incredibly soft, so I slept like a baby. The shower room was a bit small, but the hot water flowed out abundantly. I even took a half-bath in the bathtub! After returning from trekking, relaxing in hot water to relieve fatigue and enjoying cup noodles on the terrace was absolutely fantastic~ Both rooms have terraces that are as spacious as the rooms themselves! Above all, what I can't forget is the fantastic taste of the coffee brewed fresh at breakfast. It was the best coffee I had in Italy. Since our whole family drank two cappuccinos every morning, the staff would eventually greet us warmly when we went down for breakfast and ask, "Would you like four cappuccinos, ice, and a double espresso first today?" showing such thoughtfulness in taking care of us first. 👍🏻 They were also considerate enough to provide thermoses with ice and iced coffee or juice for our trekking, so we enjoyed them very comfortably and kept them cool. Every single staff member we met at Chiasa Lorenzi was kind and willing to help with anything, and my whole family was truly touched and had a happy time throughout our stay. And another big advantage! You know how everyone usually has to leave the earliest on the day they go to Tre Cime? The hotel is located right at the entrance of the route, so it has the best travel route among all the hotels in downtown Cortina d'Ampezzo. Since the streets of downtown Cortina d'Ampezzo are one-way and you have to travel counter-clockwise, travel time can easily increase depending on your location, so this hotel was absolutely the best in that regard. It is located right in the center of d'Ampezzo, so you can get anywhere within a 5-10 minute walk. The location seemed unrivaled. I highly recommend it to anyone who is hesitating! Room 106 doesn't have enough space to fully unpack a large suitcase, so it might be a bit inconvenient if you have a lot of luggage, but anyone staying in Room 107 will be extremely satisfied. If you are a family of four, booking both together would be perfect. ^^ I have never experienced this level of satisfaction, even at 5-star hotels. Since I was traveling with my parents, I spent a long time searching and carefully selecting this hotel, and it exceeded all my expectations and satisfied me to the fullest! 💚🤍❤️ I definitely want to visit the Dolomites again someday. And when I do, I will definitely stay at the Chiasa Lorenzi Hotel again!!!!

This was probably the best experience my girlfriend and I have had in a hotel. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the team were so welcoming. More than anything, Serena made us feel like we were at home. We had hikes early in the morning two out of the three nights we were staying and Serena organised packed lunches for our walk. She also ensured we had a table for dinner on the night we were at the hotel and outside when the dj was playing. The room was superb. I’ve never had a view like it from a bedroom. It was spotlessly clean and so comfortable. The TV had all the universal apps available. If you’re staying in Cortina, don’t hesitate to stay here. Serena and the team are the best.
