A very nice hotel spacious rooms and friendly staff

Great hotel with good breakfast, super staff and good location. If you are going to Jæren, this is the hotel to stay at!

Not easily accessible by bus

The hotel was very nice, and the breakfast was good. The only downside was the parking: it's not managed directly by the hotel but by an external company. The hotel should better inform its guests, as we had an unpleasant surprise when it came time to pay. We were only able to pay for two days of parking because after 48 hours it becomes impossible to pay at the machine. We thought we had to pay for parking at the end of our stay. As a result, we felt like we were bad payers when it was mainly a matter of a lack of information. For the future, the hotel should find a solution or better explain how it works, especially since it's marked "hotel parking," which is misleading.

The hotel closed the restaurant on a Tuesday in November for a christmas party. I can accept that, but not the fact that the guests weren't told about it, just a smile and: "There are other restaurants nearby!" "But I was told it opened at 5 o'clock?" I said. "I specifically asked!" "Not today, sorry! Only christmas food and we're fully booked," she said and walked away. I wasn't even offered this christmas food, I would be happy to eat in my room if seating was an issue. But no. Nothing. Even Basil Fawlty on Fawlty Towers informs his guests in due time before closing the restaurant, and that tells you all you need to know. I will never return to this hotel, and I will go out of my way to spread this story. (And their brand new furniture sucks. Might as well sit on the floor, it's just as comfortable.) I have also had really good experiences with this hotel.

We stayed here for one night as a family of four during a road trip. The hotel has a typical conference-hotel feel — functional and clearly designed for courses and business events. Location & access: Very easy to reach from the road, with parking right next to the entrance. Convenient for a stopover, though the surroundings are not particularly special — it feels a bit “in the middle of nowhere,” but works perfectly for transit. Room: Spacious enough for a family. The kids had a bunk bed, but the upper mattress was quite uncomfortable — you could clearly feel the slats underneath, which made for a poor night’s sleep. Noise & view: View over grass/open area with a nearby road. Despite that, it was quiet enough and not an issue for us. Facilities: The lobby is a strong point — plenty of space to sit in the evening, which is useful when traveling with kids (not something every hotel offers). Food: Dinner at the nearby brewery/restaurant across the street was a nice addition (not included in the hotel arrangement). Breakfast was excellent — wide variety and very well organized. Service: Friendly and efficient reception. Overall: A practical, comfortable stopover hotel with great breakfast and good accessibility. Not a destination in itself, but a reliable choice for a short stay.
