If you want to talk about perfection, then this hotel is it. The staff's friendliness is incredible, and everyone is always super attentive. This includes the entire team, from reception and service to maintenance and room service. The room service is outstanding, the rooms are spotlessly clean, and the entire hotel is impeccably maintained. The breakfast is unparalleled and on par with a 5-star hotel. The hotel's style is well-conceived, and everything—from the rooms and pool area to the atrium—is harmoniously designed and creates a wonderful atmosphere. The value for money is excellent. The hotel manager and many of his staff have been there for years, which speaks volumes about the hotel. I could write so much more, but nothing compares to experiencing it firsthand! I was a big fan of the Marina Hotel… until my last visit. I was given a room where the bed was completely broken. The bed wasn't even a bed; it was some kind of makeshift bed frame. A great board on legs that weren't stable. They kept coming apart. So we removed the board completely and put mattresses on the floor and slept like that. The internet on the TV was constantly disconnected from the internet in the Marina. We couldn't use it anyway. We asked if we could change rooms, but unfortunately, we had to stay in this disgusting room. And sleep on the floor. For this reason, our third visit to the Gold Marina will be our last. Thanks for nothing.

I stayed at the hotel for a week in May and had an amazing experience from start to finish. The hotel had everything I needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay — a good gym, great breakfast every morning, large rooms with kitchens, and an excellent location within walking distance of the Yumbo Center. What really stood out was the atmosphere and overall vibe of the place. You can feel the personality of the hotel in every detail — from the design of the rooms and common areas to even the outfits of the staff. It created a fun, welcoming, and relaxing environment throughout the entire stay. The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and service-oriented. Every request or issue I had was handled quickly and with a smile, and they genuinely made me feel welcome the entire week. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would absolutely stay here again. I’ll definitely be visiting again next year!

The hotel is in an excellent location, just steps from the beaches, the beautiful dunes, and the main shopping centers. The staff is always smiling and helpful, and the manager is also a truly pleasant person. A complimentary bottle of water is provided daily. Unfortunately, the building, while not old, is rather poorly maintained. The cups for the (generous) breakfast are piled on a rusty cart, without even a cover to protect the rim you put on your lips, which remains in contact with rust for hours/days. Furthermore, the cups are placed wet (which explains the rust), so those left underneath take on a sickening "fresh" smell. The mattresses are of poor quality, full of bumps, and the headboard is made of corrugated chicken coop board, superficially fixed to the wall. In the bathroom, the towel hooks are flimsy hooks secured to the door and the wall with a single screw. The toilet is an old, cheap type, and the flush only cleans a small area, requiring you to repeatedly use a toothbrush. The shower goes from "cold" to scalding hot by moving the mixer a few millimeters. The main light in the room was broken, and the mirror was chipped. The door to the outside corridor was drafty, but the door to the inside corridor was swollen and wouldn't close. Furthermore, cleaning is only done "where the priest passes," and even then, only superficially. When we arrived, there was quite a bit of dust under the bed. The beds are only "pulled up" and not completely made, worsening the already poor comfort, and the sheets were never changed in 10 nights. The pool bathrooms are rarely cleaned and remain without paper towels for days. The lifeguard, who is supposed to ensure continuous service from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, disappeared for hours on end. I don't think we'll be back.
