Guadalquivir riverbank (Alamillo-Cachorro)

The vegetated stretch of the Guadalquivir riverbank between the Puente del Alamillo and the Puente del Cachorro is Seville's second documented cruising zone, on the edge of the Parque del Alamillo area north of the old town. By day it is jogger and cyclist territory; after dark the unlit sections between the bridges take on a different rhythm. Spanish cruising guides have listed this bank for years, and it remains one of only two consistently documented outdoor spots in the city, along with Parque de Maria Luisa. Safety first: this is an isolated, unlit riverbank at night. Go with your phone charged, keep valuables to a minimum, and stick to the stretches nearer the bridges rather than the most remote sections. As everywhere in Spain, tolerance is informal - public activity can still draw a fine if police pass through.
