I had a really enjoyable stay here this July. The room was spotless, thoughtfully designed and had plenty of space for a night away. I loved the huge square bed and the large window, which gave the room a great atmosphere at night overlooking the city. The whole hotel has a modern, relaxed vibe that feels a bit different from your typical chain hotel. The bar, restaurant and lounge area were excellent, and I even noticed people using the space to work remotely while enjoying a coffee. It gave the hotel a welcoming, lived-in feel rather than somewhere people simply pass through. The Wi-Fi (yes, it was free) deserves a special mention too – refreshingly, it runs at actual 2026 speeds rather than "hotel Wi-Fi" speeds. The location is another big plus: an easy walk into the city centre while still feeling relaxed enough to escape the bustle when you return. My only suggestion would be to add a kettle to the rooms. As a Brit, the ability to make an emergency coffee at an ungodly hour feels almost like a basic human right! That said, I'll happily forgive the omission because the entire first floor is a brilliant restaurant/bar that serves coffee! Woo! And there's a wonderfully decorative horse in reception that more than made up for it... Although, sadly, it wouldn't fit in my bag at check-out. If you like your hotel stay served with a healthy dose of "vibes", real personality, great facilities and genuinely welcoming staff, citizenM Glasgow delivers. I'll happily stay here again the next time I'm in Glasgow.

Cons: The washrooms have little privacy so be aware of that if you're traveling as a couple... Everything in the room is controlled by iPads so getting the lighting optimal can be a pain. The TV channels provided aren't fulsome yet casting to the TV was terrible and it constantly disconnected or lagged. The WiFi would disconnect regularly from my phone and I would have to re-set up the Chromecast when it did which was annoying as well. Only one elevator works and it can be quite the wait. Pros: The staff seem kind and ready to help. Room service did check in on our third day to see if we needed anything which was appreciated. The communal space is well set up and provides a peaceful third space to get out of your room without needing to spend money. The location is central and the rooms have a modern, clean feel.

we recently stayed at CitizenM Glasgow and overall had a good experience, with many positives but also a few disappointments. The best thing about this hotel is definitely the location. It is in a very convenient area, close to shops, restaurants, and other attractions in Glasgow, which made getting around very easy. The room was modern, clean, and comfortable. The bed was large and very comfortable, and we had a good night’s sleep. One small issue is the bed layout—if two people are sharing, one person may need to climb over the other to get in or out, which may not be convenient for everyone. I also really liked the lighting system in the room. The lighting functions were excellent and added a modern, relaxing atmosphere. It was one of the standout features of the room. Most of the staff were polite and helpful. However, we had an issue with the parking information. Before parking, we asked the first lady at reception for guidance, but unfortunately she did not explain the parking process properly. Because of the unclear information, we ended up parking in a different car park and missed the hotel’s 50% parking discount, which was disappointing. Later, the young man at reception was much more helpful and explained everything properly, including the parking postcode. Unfortunately, by then it was too late because we had already parked. Another downside was the lack of basic amenities in the room. There was no kettle, tea, or coffee provided. Guests need to buy tea separately, which was surprising and disappointing for a 4-star hotel. Complimentary tea and coffee are usually standard in hotels of this category, so I found this quite disappointing. Overall, the hotel has a great location, comfortable beds, stylish rooms, and impressive modern features like the lighting system. However, better staff communication and improved in-room amenities would make the experience much better.

The hotel has a premium appearance and an impressive modern lighting system that creates a stylish atmosphere. However, the room facilities did not meet my expectations for a 4-star hotel. The room was quite small, and there were no complimentary tea or coffee-making facilities available. If you wanted a hot drink, you had to purchase it from the canteen. The bed was very comfortable, which was a positive aspect of the stay. However, the bed placement was inconvenient, as one person had to climb over their partner to get in or out of bed. The cleanliness of the room and hotel was very good. Nearby parking is available at a cost of £28 per night, although guests can receive a discount by presenting their parking ticket to the hotel staff. Overall, while the hotel looks luxurious and modern, the room amenities and layout do not fully reflect a 4-star standard. This version keeps a balanced and fair tone while highlighting both the positives and areas for improvement.

beds huge omg, king size and then some the room is controlled by ipad fully charged on side table including tv lights for the shower colour. lights even has sleep apps blackout blinds im very impressed, this hotel fab for the money. A key card given for easy check in and staff there to help if needed. The bed is super comfy may not leave lol and the fact its not far from bus station or any of the shops is a bonus too. ive shown different mood lighting on some pics.

I had a fantastic stay at CitizenM Glasgow and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. From the moment I arrived, I knew this hotel was a little different from the usual. The self-service check-in and check-out process was smooth, efficient, and surprisingly enjoyable. Even the room key design was unique and memorable. The room itself was excellent. Although I was travelling alone, the bed was enormous and could comfortably accommodate three people. Everything felt modern, well thought out, and incredibly comfortable. One of the most impressive features was the in-room iPad, which controlled virtually everything. From the blinds and shades to the TV, lighting, room cleaning requests, and more, everything was at your fingertips. It made the stay feel futuristic and very convenient. The ambient lighting in the room was fantastic and created a relaxing atmosphere, especially in the evenings. The room was pleasant, comfortable, and a great place to unwind after a day of exploring the city. The overall hotel design deserves special praise. The red-themed décor looked stunning, from the red carpets to the striking red lighting at the entrance. The entire hotel has a vibrant, stylish, and modern vibe that stands out from typical hotel chains. To top it all off, the view from my room was outstanding. I had a wonderful panoramic view across Glasgow, which made the stay even more memorable. CitizenM has created a unique hotel experience that combines technology, comfort, and great design. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Glasgow.

Excellent vfm for such a central location. Rooms are very compact. Bed fits snugly under the window so can only be accessed from one side. Very clean, excellent shower. Room temperature was good.

Overall is good, I think the main issue in this hotel is the elevator, just no enough elevator in the hotels, and there are many people and many rooms and with more than 6 floors , and only 2 elevators this will results that you can wait a lot of time. I think they need to improve this.

I haven't stayed here for years until this week. It's just the same, which is really pleasing. Staff are good, the room is spacious, the bed is comfortable and the TV has plenty of options including streaming. The shower is huge with different options. There isn't a huge amount of storage space, but not a problem. No tea or coffee in the room, but available on the first floor. It's stylish and bright. Good value.
