Adelphi Hotel

I stay here often can’t beat the location . The food is good . The staff are amazing . Ali on reception is very welcoming and will go out of his way to help . It’s dated but has charm & character . The rooms are clean & spacious .

Faded grandeur best describes it

We mainly booked this hotel to investigate it's haunted history, but we're pleasantly surprised. The staff were great, especially the shift manager. The place was immaculate, in fact, the shower was the best shower I've ever had in a hotel room! We will definitely be back!

I know reviews are mixes for the Adelphi and it was sad to see its faded grandeur but also awesome. We took a chance and booked a suite, turned out it was a filming location for Peaky Blinders. It was huge for the price and atmospheric. Bed was great and the bathroom.Great breakfast. Seems mad there is no spa now. Why don't the owners invest. Heartily recommend just for the experience!

Lovely hotel, terrible service

Once grand hotel, now v faded. But the rooms were roomy, we asked for a quiet one and got one. Bathroom modernised. Pillows hard, and they could not provide softer ones. It has interesting interiors. Staff seek to be helpful. Location excellent, v close to Lime St Station. Right on edge of city centre. Breakfast classic self service and the coffee was poor. Can buy outside. But after careful consideration we had breakfast in. We could have an easy and broad choice, so the next day I could reject the hash browns (err...), but have sausages (were good). And breakfast pricing was ok. WiFi ok. If you go out for the day, remember to reconnect in evening. I'd go back.

Good hotel good location 😃

Not too bad at all. Pure Edwardian hotel. Fabulous decor. Some parts of hotel are old but its nice. Room was fine i am not buying it!! Bathroom was large with original fittings some work needs doing but its fully useable. Restaurant is fine for a buffet breakfast. Rest of hotel is very grand but some areas especially the doors needs decorating. Overall its fine for a few nights and a regular room is so £ cheap. The main downside is just that the ground floor toilets need a good fresh spray.

Avoid this hotel , we had bed bugs and were covered in bites , it’s tired and out dated , we were told breakfast was up until 10am but we went down at 9.30 and they said they were closed offered us the hard leftovers , disgusting hotel avoid AVOID.
