The room was hot! Hate to experience that at the peak of a heatwave. No a/c. Tidy though. The beds were like slabs. Didn’t get a good nights kip. Staff were great. Went to have a blimp at the breakfast buffet offerings the next morning, and decided to swerve it.

Food always only lukewarm and overcooked. Room cold as no heating on except a small towel rail in the bathroom. Towels are far too small. Always lots of undesirable people hanging around outside asking for spare change or cigarettes, and the staff don’t ask them to move on so it’s quite intimidating. Breakfast staff are rude and abrupt. Would never stay here again.

Nothing to fault about this classically decorated, wonderfully situated and very well priced prime hotel. Excellent transport links and Liverpool surrounding you. Highly recommend.
