About This Event
Sitges Pride is the town's June pride, a separate event from the February Carnival. Sitges is a small beach town about 40 minutes down the coast from Barcelona. Its official site bills the event as "Europe's Pride by the Sea", and the town council is listed among the sponsors.
The festival runs from Wednesday to Sunday with beach and pool parties, hotel events and a parade through town. Catalan News reported that in 2019 the parade took place on the closing Sunday, with thousands lining the seafront promenade. Several 2026 listings also put the parade on the Sunday, but the official site didn't give a day. Check the programme before you book. The street events and the parade are free. The pool party and the big club nights are ticketed.
Sitges has a small hotel stock, and the official site warns that rooms sell out. Barcelona's Pride is usually a few weeks later, so many visitors go to both.
The 2026 edition ran June 10 to 14. We found no attendance figure from the organizers or any independent source. The official site has confirmed the 2027 edition for June 9 to 13, 2027.
