Sitges Gay Pride 2027

Sitges Gay Pride 2026 brings over 70,000 LGBTQ+ visitors to this Catalan beach town, 35 kilometers south of Barcelona. The celebration runs for a week.

Sitges has been a queer destination since the 1960s. Pride started in 2010.

You'll find beach parties on Playa de la Bassa Rodona, white parties, foam parties, drag shows, and pool events. The Pride parade winds through Sitges’ old town to the seafront. DJs play at Atlántida and beach clubs. Calle del Pecado comes alive at night with bars like Parrots, Queenz, El Horno, and Mediterráneo. There are also art exhibitions, film screenings at the Prado Theatre, and fundraisers for LGBTQ+ causes.

Sitges has golden beaches, modernist buildings, the church overlooking the sea, and palm-lined promenades. The town center is small; you can walk everywhere. Consider a day trip to Barcelona, the Penedès wine region, or Montserrat.

Fly into Barcelona-El Prat (BCN). From there, it's a 40-minute R2 Sud train ride or a 30-minute taxi to Sitges. Book gay-friendly hotels months in advance; the town fills up during Pride. Bring swimwear, outfits for white parties, and comfortable shoes for the cobblestones. Dinner often starts late.
