Travelodge Swansea Central

Stained carpets, stained grimy chairs, holes in towels, rough off white towels, no iron available, borrowed the hotel ironing board and iron from another guest as reception "ran out", luke warm iron could not iron business wear. Bed smells, dirty cups, attention to detail not in focus. Given the lack of cleanliness, I did not eat breakfast, although paid for it as part of my package. Would not stay at this travelodge again.

Get what you pay for, but expected some form of standard for a Travelodge. Room seemed clean on entry, but you end up noticing the stained bedding, worn furniture and dusty walls. Bathroom was poor, no hair or body wash in the shower, sink plug seemed stuck until I worked out how to open it..room was either too hot or too cold, pay a bit more and stay in a better hotel. Only good thing was the location, which suited us. Ladies are reception were helpful with check in, didnt see anyone at the desk after checking in.

For a traveloge it’s what you get it’s pretty decent But the customer service it’s a bit meh we came in at 10am and thought we would ask to check in earlier and the worker said you have to come back at 12 to have your room so we said ok and came back at 12 and the same worker said you have to pay £15 to check in early but she told us 12 now 3 and to have pay to get the room early even tho the room was ready? So we left to think about the 15 came back to pay as we needed to get our room and there was a different lady and we said we want to pay the money to have our room early..she gave me some attitude and said you can’t and we said well we have been given the option and we have paid £150 for a room for 1 night!? The other lady came in and corrected the girl. After all that we got our room and we had the double that we asked and paid for and 2 single beds? The plug for the bath i had to pick out because it was broken off the chain but the room was ok just random to have 3 beds? And the customer service was confusing on the one side and the other just plain rude

When I opened my curtains my window looked straight into other peoples flats, shower head was stuck half facing the wall so I had to stand against the wall to have a shower. No air conditioning so if it gets too hot you need to open the window but when you do that you get no peace due to noise from flats and all the gulls flying around. The beds are like solid slabs of concrete woke up after my second night with back, neck and shoulder pain which wasn’t there before my trip and since sleeping in my own bed has gotten better.

Initial room was full of hair, the desk surface was filthy and covered in some pink slimy substance. Moved to a second room where the chair looked filthy and was covered in stains. There was also litter left on one of the chairs in the room. The bed was a very poor quality, the mattress was dipped massively in the centre and you could feel every spring poking into you. Complained to reception a about the initial room and the lady on the desk was understanding and agreed to the request to change rooms.

Room wasn't that clean, after news and lessons need to be learned, we checked in to our room, my husband went for a shower and with that someone walked in, with in 10/15 mins checked 2 couples into the same room!

Unattentive staff, dirty room, broken things everywhere in the room. And this is supposed to be a "premium" room

Great location, about 10mins walk from Swansea Station. Close to shops.

Bed was surprisingly comfy and room was clean. Breakfast was also good
