Last verified: November 2026. Benidorm has one gay sauna, H2O, and a handful of men-only cruise and fetish clubs. Most of them are in or just outside the old town, not in Rincón de Loix as some older guides claim.
The sauna: H2O
H2O is at Calle Tomàs Ortuño 46, a few minutes uphill from the old-town bars. It's men only, with a dry sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, video room, private cabins and a bar. It's an afternoon venue: its website (h2osaunabenidorm.com) lists Tuesday to Friday and Sunday 15:00 to 21:00, Saturday 15:00 to 20:00, and closed on Monday. Google reviewers give it 3.7 from about 110 reviews; midweek out of season it can be very quiet.
Cruise and fetish clubs
Copper Private Club, Calle de la Palma 9, is a men-only fetish club with a leather bar, darkroom, cabins, a playroom and a sling, plus theme nights with enforced dress codes. It opens Thursday to Sunday from 23:00 to about 04:30 and entry is around €14. Its website says it is closed from 1 to 25 November 2026.
New Incognito, Avenida de Uruguay 8, about a 10–15 minute walk north-west of the old town, is a men-only disco and cruise club for mature men: a dance floor at the front, darkrooms, booths and a cinema at the back. It opens nightly from about 21:00 to 03:00, with a cover of about €10.
In the old town, the bear bars KUMA and Bears Bar on Santa Faz and Dark Room on Calle Alicante all have darkrooms, and New People has one at the back.
Unconfirmed
JJ Private Bar (Avenida de Uruguay 4) is still listed by realbenidorm but marked closed by Travel Gay. Lib Club on Calle de la Palma appears in only one current listing. Ask in the old-town bars before making the trip to either.
Outdoors
The naturist coves of Cala Ti Ximo under Serra Gelada and Racó del Conill in La Vila Joiosa are used by gay men, but they are public places shared with families and hikers. Sex in public can bring a public-order fine in Spain; the sauna and clubs above are the legal option.
Practical tips
- All of these places are men only. Bring ID, and expect a towel at H2O.
- Bring your own condoms and lube.
- Winter hours are shorter and some clubs close for a few weeks, so check their websites or social pages first.
