Bears Bar is one of the older gay bars in Benidorm, a men-only bar on Calle Santa Faz in the old town. The crowd leans bear and older, though the door policy is about being male rather than fitting a type. The front is a regular drinking bar; further back there is a darkroom. Santa Faz is the centre of Benidorm's gay street scene, so this sits right on the usual bar crawl, close to KUMA. It gets busiest late in the evening, especially in summer and around Benidorm Pride in September. Usual darkroom etiquette applies: take your own condoms and accept a no without fuss.
