CELLOS-MG

CELLOS-MG (Centro de Luta pela Livre Orientacao Sexual de Minas Gerais) is the leading LGBTQ+ rights organisation in Minas Gerais, founded in 2001 and affiliated with the national federation ABGLT. Based in downtown Belo Horizonte, it carries out statewide advocacy, anti-LGBTphobia campaigns and community projects, and is the organiser of the city's annual Pride parade — one of the largest in Brazil. The group marked 25 years of activism in 2026 and remains the central point of contact for LGBTQ+ political and community life in the state.
