Sobre este lugar Praia da Galheta

Praia da Galheta is a protected, undeveloped beach reached by a short trail over the rocks from the north end of Praia Mole, near Lagoa da Conceição. It is unofficially clothing-optional and has long been Florianópolis's best-known gay beach, with discreet cruising in the vegetation and dunes behind the sand. There are no facilities, so bring water, food and sun protection, and wear proper shoes for the trail. Families and straight nudists also use the beach, so keep any activity out of sight of the sand. Go in daylight and do not leave bags unattended.

With a group of friends, we rented a house on the seashore with all the amenities and entertainment on Canasvieiras beach. It is a low tourism season, but we had very warm and sunny weather. 60% of the businesses are closed, but we always had good quality dining options. We visited several beaches, some ecological reserves, visits to the Hercílio Luz Bridge and surroundings, in general a good experience and gathering data to go more in the summer with family. Very interesting that it is a city with an airport, that makes it so that with an early morning flight (Latam) and a 3 1/2 hour flight, adding having 1 hour less, it allowed us to be in the city by 10:00 am and the same on the way back, with a flight at 19:15.

Rustic, quiet, beautiful. The best water on the island to relax. Nudism optional. Travel light because you get there by trilha.

The road to get there is pretty simple. The place is dreamed up. And the coexistence of those who wish to do nudism and is not perfect.

It is a very nice beach, but it is no longer nude. The weather in winter is still a bit cool. But recommend the date if you want to not see so many people and rest.

We were chased and robbed on the trail in broad daylight. We lost cell phones, money, cards and I was punched. I recommend being very careful.

The beach is beautiful, you can go into the sea. Wide sand and nearby vegetation help to hide from the strongest sun. I got naked but I'm not sure if it's still allowed. But I saw couples practicing naturism. The bad thing is the machismo of men who shamelessly show off to women. This attitude is regrettable. Gays hunting are not a threat. But they disappear between the trails.

I came to talk about the trail to the natural pools at Praia da Galheta. It is a medium-level trail, well signposted, and with stunning views. But the most fascinating thing was finding a family of marmosets that kept an eye on the orange that my husband peeled. We give up eating to feed them. It was amazing! We went on a rainy day but it was still peaceful and worth it. My 5 year old daughter was fine with it.

The beach is good, better than the next one (Mole) for swimming, but quite under the expectation. I dont think I will retur there.

This beach is my home when in Floripa and has been on all of my 7 visits - as a naturist it is an incredible beach - approx 1 km with very few vendors ( only in the last couple of years ) as it is a reserve. it is a bit of a hike to get there but the excercise is great and the beach is your reward

This is a beautiful beach. We were dropped off in a residential area by Uber and walked with curiosity looking for the beach. We ended up at the bottom of what we did not realize was a massive mountain and began hiking a rather difficult trail that did not seem to be well traveled. We probably should have heeded the bewildered look given to us by two individuals descending from the trail when we told them we were looking for the beach. With GPS programmed for the beach in hand, we began to ascend what we did not realize was a mountain – me in dress sandals and capris (it’s a beach, right) and my colleague in shorts and hiking boots. Obviously, one of us was more prepared. After climbing for an extended time, we finally reached a breathtakingly stunning beach, which I was surprised to find out was clothing optional - a fact shared by a Brazilian gentleman who flashed me trice to demonstrate. Due to the isolation of this beach, there were not a lot of people, and I was able to enjoy the view of the fishing boats, white sand, mountains and calming, blue water while resting against a large rock in silence. The exception was a half an hour of learning some Portuguese words with a Brazilian man who seems to be a frequent visitor to the beach. Upon leaving, we were surprised to find out that there were only two ways off this part of the beach - the mountains again (no way!!!!) or over the boulders. The boulders were a moderately difficult climb for a non-climber like myself, but we made it back through Praia Mole and in the end, I had a vigorous workout as well as a few hours in a what seemed like a version of paradise.
