Perfect lunch. Best View. Very cheap

Our family, a group of four adults and five children, had a reservation for a double room (100 soles), a triple room (140 soles), and a quadruple room (170 soles) for three nights at Cusvo Vista House in July 2025. The hostel is located in the upper part of Cusco, with narrow, steep streets where taxis can't go, and access is very difficult due to both the hills and the altitude. We arrived at the hostel late and very tired, hoping to find a clean and comfortable place to rest, but the condition of the rooms left so much to be desired that we had to leave that same day. The rooms smelled damp, there were stains on the walls, the duvets were yellowed, and the bathroom ceiling was covered in mold. Everything felt stuffy and damp, and we felt it wasn't safe for our health or the children's to sleep in the hostel. At the owner Teresa's request, we had already paid for the first night as a reservation, which we then lost. The only positive point was that the rooftop terrace has lovely views of Cusco's Plaza de Armas. In short, we wouldn't recommend anyone stay at this hostel until the cleanliness and hygiene of the rooms are improved.

It's inexpensive, the bed is comfortable, and the view from the terrace is very nice, but most of the rooms are dark with windows that face a wall. The bathrooms are acceptable, but the natural light in the rooms is poor. I'd say it's a place to spend one night while you look for somewhere else.

The place is comfortable, the people who work there are very friendly, the breakfast is good, they have a spectacular view, the arrival to the place is a little tiring from the square but honestly for me it's worth it.

Honestly, the only nice thing about it is the view from the terrace; everything else is very neglected—the rooms, the bathrooms... hot water is a problem when the hotel is full.

I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel because: The hotel is a lovely and peaceful place to relax, at a fair and affordable price. Besides that, it has a stunning view of Cusco's Plaza de Armas. Breakfast is included, and the rooms are clean, the bed is very comfortable, and there's hot water all day. It's very close to Cusco's Plaza de Armas, about four blocks away. You might get tired climbing the stairs, but the spectacular view from the terrace is well worth it. Also, Mrs. Teresa is the one who attends to all her guests in a very kind and respectful manner. God willing, I'll stay here again. Thank you so much, Mrs. Teresa, for your kindness.
