Sandman Hotel Edmonton West

Very nice rooms. Hotel was spotless and the attached restaurant has amazing food. Also Denny's for breakfast.

We had a good stay there, evrything is near by within walking distance. Mall is 10mins drive away. Room was nice.

I always stay at Sandman West Edmonton when i'm in town. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. I especially want to send a "shout out" to Ravneet Singh Kathuria for his excellent customer service while booking my room.

Maria was the best in accommodating our requests for a ground floor room. It’s beautiful and close to the pool and hot tub.

I really wish I could have rated this stay higher, but our experience was pretty awful. The lobby was absolutely packed with dogs when we arrived and the energy was hectic. Many parts of the hotel felt rundown. I was supposed to receive an upgrade with my RSVP status (subject to availability, I know) but was given a pretty terrible basement room with an ancient AC unit that was only accessible via a set of stairs. My mom walks with a cane and struggled with this. Our ancient AC never got the room below 21C and was clanging and loud. There was a large youth hockey tournament staying in the hotel so the pool was packed. The pool area was always dirty with dishes and food. We had had a long travel day coming from Toronto, and went to bed early only to be awoken by dozens of kids in our hallway, screaming and fighting and banging in to our doors at 10pm. I asked them to quiet down twice before calling the front desk, who took over a half hour to get their kids back to their rooms, by then it was nearly 11. We had a pretty horrible night of sleep before another 20+ hour travel day. The front desk did not acknowledge or apologize for the disruption or offer anything for the inconvenience.

Me and Maria had some good laughs checking and she is very nice to deal with. All the staff are friendly, very accommodating to what you’re wanting in a room. Rooms are always well put together and it’s my go to for where I stay when coming to Edmonton 👌🏼

Great stay conditions, very kind hotel staff, comfortable beds, and cozy rooms. We had a good night and will continue to enjoy our stay. We are very satisfied, so whenever I’m passing through or traveling for business, I will definitely stay with you again. Also, what really impressed us is that there are so many places around the hotel where you can relax, grab a bite, have lunch or dinner, and easily park your car. The location is very convenient. Even for this reason alone, we would love to come back. It’s also worth mentioning that West Edmonton Mall is located within about a 10-minute distance, which is another nice advantage.
