Too many fully clothes indian guys recording and making people feel awkward. Not that relaxing anymore. It was good 4-5 years ago.

Some people were Fully Nude others were Fully Clothed. Our Ladies removed their Tops, we all kept our Bottoms on. Pretty sure some of the clothed were trying to sneak photos.

Very laid back clothing optional beach. Be respectful and you'll be fine. The newly opened beach further down from the original Hanlan's beach has become the new clothing optional spot. The older spot has more shade and better swimming than the newer beach, while the newer spot is more of a social gathering.

This place was the cherry on top of a fantastic time in Canada. I was apprehensive about visiting a clothing optional beach, but I eventually mustered up the courage to join in and I have never felt so liberated! Most individuals on the beach were clothed, which was a bit of a let down, but the experience was great all the same. Everyone gets on with what there doing, so there really isn’t any fear. Don’t forget to apply sunscreen on all areas to ensure your skin is safe from burning. Particularly on sensitive areas. The lake was clean and it was a great swim. It’s worth the visit if you are on the island and want to experience something new.

Hanlins point is a fun place. You can enjoy the nice clean water, walk or sit on the beach. Tanning in as little as possible is what’s in it for us. My girl friend & I go there every weekend we can. Gay men don’t bother us. As a matter of fact they’re friendly & are well behaved. We always give & get smiles!!! Few girls show up, be nice if there were more. Maybe you reading this, will join us! I wear a thong, so does my lover, having nice bodies, we enjoy the clothing optional. we are really tanned this year. Carmi goes topless, looks so fabulous. Topless was legalized in Ontario back in 1987 btw. So you could walk down the street if you wanted bare!!!! Thankyou sun, for the beautiful rays that shine down on us!

I used to come here to feel one with nature, to suntan, to relax, and to feel open with the nudity/partial nudity community. A few clothed people - no problem. tiny non-family swimwear - no problem. This year, half the people were wearing family beach attire - not very nature-like. Mostly, it was difficult to feel the happiness I used to feel in the place when there are large motor boats & yachts with very loud music disturbing sunbathers and blocking the view of the lake.

Biked over to the beach and unfortunetly there wasn't any swimming due to e coli levels. Please understand that this is a clothes optional beach as well.

As a person that’s been going since the 80’s I’ve seen a lot of changes, most of them not so good. Since the days of finding little pockets of sand surrounded by tall grasses, when we had one person on lookout we’d sunbath in the nude. It was at the time a “gay men’s” destination of interest as it was sort an place to hang out. On occasion we’d get ticketed but for the most part the police were ok with it. Since then the one good thing that was done, is sand was hauled in to create a beach. The bylaw was also changed to designate it as as clothing optional beach. Downhill since then. The beach is inundated with gawkers (90%) who just take up a lot of space and turning an enjoyable day into one that at times feels dirty. There are also a lot of people who bring dogs which is not only selfish and dangerous but also against city bylaws. Dogs are not allowed on beaches in Toronto (unless designated) or on any of the beaches I’ve visited in many countries. There’s just not enough officers to patrol the number of ignorant people with dogs. I mean who wants a dog running over your blanket, nipping at your food or taking a sh##t at your feet? These last couple of years getting there has been a chore. One summer it was closed as the island was seriously flooded and then COVID hit. This summer when you could go, the city gave no consideration to people riding bicycles with major construction making the ride dangerous. Huge clouds of dust, gravel kicked up by massive machinery requires some serious precautions. Wearing a good mask and eye protection is a must. The island was always an oasis for me especially since I could be nude and enjoy the sun gracing my body and the water enveloping my naked self. It’s really a terrific experience, one that I would recommend that everyone should try.

Awesome sandy beaches, different areas to choose from. Island seems well serviced and ferry ride was quick. If you have a chance to check out the historical clothing optional beach, it's worth it. Wait till it's hot out to swim, Lake Ontario can be pretty cold in the spring, but it didn't take long to dry in the sun. All around great destinations, something for everyone, parks and family beaches for kids. Best thing to do is pack a bag with food and water, there is some concessions there. But packing good for food and water is a good idea in case you're there longer than planned 😉

Well worth checking out and bringing your partner too! First time being nude in public and it was really a personal growth experience for the both her and I. We were pleasantly surprised that it was pretty close to an almost even ratio of men and women. She finally came out of her shell and went topless. There's lifeguards on duty but nothing much else. So pack your own picnic good to bring to the beach. Had body insecurities in the past and wanted to feel comfortable enough one day to be able to do this. Glad I finally got to that point and now don't feel like it's all that embarrassing to be in my birthday suit. Most people kept to themselves like at any other beach. And it was nice to see mostly everyone was also in the nude. We went on a weekday. Helps normalise everyone's view of body parts in a healthy way as opposed to that alternative reality we're used to online. Update, 2 years later Went during the Victoria Day holiday long weekend and it was an unpleasant experience. Super crowded, loud and like 95% men. Nothing like what we had last time. Skip the crowds here on the holiday weekend and go for the other beaches. We had a much more pleasant experience the day before at Woodbine and RC Harris.

Fantastic! Bare as you dare, enjoy a mini vacation. The place is still a lovely, quiet and relaxing place to visit. It's always a mini vacation especially in the summer. Google Maps has asked me to update this place again. It is the same amazing place, in fact, the clothing optional part has been extended. It is a great place to relax, read a book. Soak in the sun, take in all that vitamin D. The people who are there are very respectful and yet friendly. There's a volley ball net up available to everyone. Life guard are there sometimes (although the water really isn't that deep. It is a must visit for a quite day alone for meditation, or simply chill with your friends. Once again Google Maps has asked me to update this place. It's is still an absolutely amazing beach, to chill and/or hangout with a group of friends. This year though the water levels are a bit higher than last year. This is resulting in a little less beach. Erosion seems to have played a roll in there as well. However there is still plenty of beach to enjoy. The water was crystal clear. The volleyball ball net is still up. The area where the volleyball net is, seemed to have flattened off. Resulting in people playing soccer ⚽️, beach ball, Frisbee and catch (without disturbing the other beach goers).

Hanlan’s Point Beach was absolutely incredible! The beach was very clean, well-maintained, and had a relaxing atmosphere. The ferry service was also excellent, with accurate timing and smooth transportation to and from the island. One thing I really liked was that bike rentals are available throughout the island, making it easy and fun to explore the area. The views of Toronto’s skyline are beautiful, and the whole experience feels like a quick escape from the city. The only downside is that the cafés on the island are quite expensive, so it might be a good idea to bring your own snacks and drinks. Overall, a fantastic place to spend a summer day, and I highly recommend visiting!
