Awesome sandy beaches, different areas to choose from. Island seems well serviced and ferry ride was quick. If you have a chance to check out the historical clothing optional beach, it's worth it. Wait till it's hot out to swim, Lake Ontario can be pretty cold in the spring, but it didn't take long to dry in the sun. All around great destinations, something for everyone, parks and family beaches for kids. Best thing to do is pack a bag with food and water, there is some concessions there. But packing good for food and water is a good idea in case you're there longer than planned 😉

Well worth checking out and bringing your partner too! First time being nude in public and it was really a personal growth experience for the both her and I. We were pleasantly surprised that it was pretty close to an almost even ratio of men and women. She finally came out of her shell and went topless. There's lifeguards on duty but nothing much else. So pack your own picnic good to bring to the beach. Had body insecurities in the past and wanted to feel comfortable enough one day to be able to do this. Glad I finally got to that point and now don't feel like it's all that embarrassing to be in my birthday suit. Most people kept to themselves like at any other beach. And it was nice to see mostly everyone was also in the nude. We went on a weekday. Helps normalise everyone's view of body parts in a healthy way as opposed to that alternative reality we're used to online. Update, 2 years later Went during the Victoria Day holiday long weekend and it was an unpleasant experience. Super crowded, loud and like 95% men. Nothing like what we had last time. Skip the crowds here on the holiday weekend and go for the other beaches. We had a much more pleasant experience the day before at Woodbine and RC Harris.
