Chefry's Global Kitchen & Catering

The wait staff was very friendly and accommodating when my father in law asked that the music be turned down due to his hearing challenges. We were the only ones in the restaurant at 11-1230pm on a Sunday which was nice. However, it took 45 minutes to get our coffees out to the table. The food came about 15 minutes after that. The food was outstanding and the chef came by to check on our food satisfaction also. Very lovely group of staff and I would return again for the quality of the food for sure! I am guessing there must have been some sort of hiccup with the espresso machine or something.Reasonably priced also!

I tried this restaurant because of its high rating on Google. The seating was a bit cramped, but the atmosphere was nice. Dinner was at 6:40 pm on a holiday, and there weren't many customers, but many dishes on the menu were no longer available. I ordered five dishes, but none of them were particularly to my liking. The butter chicken tasted like frozen bread from the supermarket, the Boar pasta was just a dollop of very salty sauce, and the stewed lamb leg had a strange spice flavor. However, the food presentation was beautiful, which was a plus.

Wonderful atmosphere. Food presentation was amazing. A beautiful assortment of flavors. Food cooked from the heart. Our server provided outstanding, hotel-level service.

TLDR: Great service and good cocktail(s). Food was a miss every step of the way (dessert was okay). We celebrated a birthday with Chefry's and the feeling regarding this meal and experience was very mixed. We made a reservation ahead for the birthday and they had reserved a booth for us with cute birthday decorations. This is above and beyond our expectations. The server was friendly and made us feel very comfortable. We weren't drinkers but had a great espresso martini, so that's the only alcohol part we can comment on. The tiramisu was a little unconventional with the chocolate liqueur but it was good nonetheless. My issue though, is with every piece of protein we had ordered, from the beef balls to the butter chicken poutine and the salmon main dish. Everything was rough, rubbery, and dry. We were informed at the end that the salmon could have been ordered to a different degree but we weren't informed of this when placing the order, nor would we assume that it's be cooked beyond well done by default. Out of the food we ordered, the butter chicken poutine was the highlight; chicken aside the rest of it was good. The rissoto also had good feedback but I had less exposure to it personally. We were offered to have the salmon redone, but at that point of the day we were already not too hungry from previous meals and the apps so we did not take them up on it. Generally though, the desserts were good, namely the tiramisu and brownie (with ice cream, given for the birthday celebration). I didn't think too highly of the cheese cakes but friends liked them. Over all though, it was a disappointing dining experience.

We selected Chefry's due to Summerlicious and found the Summer Menu offering a number of choices ... hard to decide! The Caesar Salad is like one I've never experienced before ... not traditional given addition of prosciutto but delicious. Followed by a Butter Chicken recipe which chef Jefry brought with him. The Mango dessert was amazing, again with unexpected ingredients, created by the Chef. Our Server was Carol, who is actually also the Owner ... we were VERY pleased to see a successful woman in that role. Enjoy the experience!!

This was a great experience, the food is truly from almost all over the world and tastes wonderful. The presentation was really inspired and the service was great. Next time I’m in Toronto, I’ll come back for seconds.

Disappointing from start to finish - sadly! We (my daughter, my 84 year old blind Godmother and I) were so excited to try Chefry’s - it looked great! Sadly, looks are deceiving. The vegan meal had cheese and cream bc they made a mistake even though we stressed vegan 4 times (Vegan has been vegan for 17 years so they were v upset but calmly explained the problem) my korean chicken taco’s were basically chicken tenders w korean bbq sauce and the Ceasar salad lettuce was mushy (like it was made several hours before). In spite of NONE of our meals even being half finished, no offer of a discount or replacement was offered. I don’t know how they stay in business!

Unbelievable flavours and assortment of food. Each dish skillfully crafted and assembled. One of the most creative Eggs Benedicts I've ever tried. Beats Alouette's.

What a lovely discovery. The whole meal from the pulled steak, the grilled chicken wrap and the mango cocunut desert was done perfectly. So close to our home and will be on our go to list for friendly outings.
