About this place Rivoli

Rivoli is a long-established Toronto institution located on Queen Street West, blending dining, live entertainment, and recreational gaming under one roof. Since its opening in 1982, it has been a fixture in the city's LGBTQ+ scene, and a 2014 renovation refreshed the venue for a new generation of visitors. Whether you're looking for a meal, live music, or a casual game of pool, this multi-purpose venue offers something for different occasions and moods. As a gay restaurant and entertainment space in Toronto, Rivoli represents the kind of inclusive social hub that LGBTQ+ travellers often seek out—a place where you can eat, socialize, and enjoy live performances without leaving the same welcoming environment. The combination of dining, concerts, and pool facilities means you can spend an evening here however you'd like, whether that's a quick bite before heading elsewhere or settling in for the night. The venue's three-decade history speaks to its staying power and community roots in one of Canada's most vibrant LGBTQ+ neighbourhoods. You'll find this landmark on Queen Street West in downtown Toronto, a neighborhood known for its eclectic mix of shops, bars, and restaurants. It's a convenient base for exploring the surrounding area, and the multi-functional nature of the space makes it an easy recommendation whether you're travelling solo, with friends, or as a couple. The recently updated interiors reflect the venue's commitment to staying relevant while honouring its legacy as a beloved Toronto gathering spot.

honestly, i came here because of “nirvanna the band the show” but i was pleasantly surprised with the excellent service here!! the waitress had asked us what our plans were for the day and we told her that eating here was the main event and she figured out quickly that we were fans of the show/movie! she very kindly offered to take us to see the stage in the back! the food here was delicious - although portion wise it was a little smaller than i hoped. would recommend coming here!!

They have a few gluten free options! Not many but they’re very understanding of celiac. Had the Wookie balls and truffles fries, was fantastic. My server, Harmony, was the sweetest ever! Great atmosphere, glad to have left w a shirt :)

It’s good but it would be cool to see my favorite band live here: Nirvana the Band.
