Hotel Indigo is IHG's downtown hotel on Calle 4a, half a block off Avenida Revolución and about 300 m from Plaza Santa Cecilia, where most of Tijuana's gay bars are. It is one of the newest hotels in the centre and rates 4.8 on Google from about 230 reviews, the highest score of any large downtown hotel. If you want to walk to the Revolución and Santa Cecilia bars and back, this is the most comfortable base; at night, take a ride-hail for anything further than a few blocks. It's a mainstream hotel, not a gay venue.
