Best neighborhood dive in the area. cool owner and bar tenders. Sometimes live music. Sometimes the music is good and sometimes it's nice they are giving people a chance to play in front of a crowd and try something out.

Pleasant for a comedy show. New comedians trying new material.

Rock 'n' Roll is alive and kickin' in Austin thanks to places like this! It has everything you want from a dive bar: reasonably priced drinks, live music, dart boards, a patio (with an outdoor pool table!), and a killer vibe. The staff is friendly and attentive...you'll get your drink lickity split. If you're in the neighborhood, I highly recommend a visit.

One of the best places in Austin. This place is what bars used to be. Chill people getting drunk and actually socializing. Good music and good vibes and a nice patio and they carry the Austin Chronicle. Nothing fancy just a place to chill and hangout. Solid vibes!
