Lakepoint State Park

Stayed 3 nights here and don't understand how it hasn't been shut down. There were very few guests and the place was near empty. Staff was unfriendly and inefficient. The tennis courts were in such disrepair that they couldn't be used. The interior of our cabin was nice, though. Needs better management and hospitality training for staff.

Great park for the whole family to enjoy a day out to picnic and have fun. Well maintained and clean. From a small family to a large gathering, this is the place!

Came here for a wedding, stayed for the views. Beautiful place to unwind and enjoy some fresh air with the family. The lodge was a great place to visit and enjoy the offered food in the restaurant. Shout out to Brandi whom was our waitress for both Saturday night dinner and Sunday breakfast. Will definitely return if ever in this part of the state again.

This is a great place to stay. We love it.

Seafood buffet was the worst food

Surprisingly great experience at this place! Updated suite overlooking the lake was breathtaking. Waters Edge was affordable and convenient for all meals. The bar closed too early and every guest needs to bring soap or bath wash for their stay. That tiny bar of soap is microscopic and lasted 1 day. But overall it's where you should stay when you visit Eufaula.

We ordered our food waited hour and 20 minutes and just walked out the worst service ever!The waitress brought out our water within 20 minutes and NEVER saw her again we got Up walked Out !!!!I will never go back !!!!

My experience at Lakepoint was not what I expected. We reserved a cottage and had to vacate abruptly due to black mold found in the air vents. We were then relocated to one of the older hotel rooms, which had a strong pet, possibly dog odor. Since we were originally scheduled to stay for two nights, this was very disappointing and ultimately led us to depart a day early. The blue cottages can be deceiving because they look very nice from the outside, but the interior furniture is well beyond the point of needing replacement. On a positive note, several of my family members stayed in the cabins, and those appeared to have been renovated and were much nicer. If I were to stay at Lakepoint again, I would only consider booking one of the renovated cabins or one of the renovated hotel rooms. I would also recommend that the property designate separate rooms for guests traveling with pets. Many people have pet allergies, and odors can become deeply embedded in carpet and furnishings, creating an unpleasant experience for future guests. Overall, there is definitely potential, but improvements to room conditions, furnishings, and pet accommodations would make for a much better guest experience.
