<strong>CABARET SPOTLIGHT</strong> hosted by <strong>GORDON MICHAELS</strong> with special guest <strong>ALEXANDRIA CONNOLLY</strong>. Powerful is a word that most people would use to describe his smooth baritone voice. His delivery seems almost effortless and his stylistic range is diverse. He is comfortable performing Broadway ballads, Jazz standards, Blues, R&B Oldies, Gospel, and yes, even some Country. Some say it’s a rare treat for those lucky enough to attend one of his performances. He is a gregarious southern gentleman at heart and truly an entertainer that will leave you wanting more. He has won many singing competitions throughout New England & New York and most recently the 2009 Boston Winner and 10 city finalist of the David Foster/Name Drop.com singing competition. His reputation as a premiere vocalist has led to performances with internationally known singers Patti Labelle, Jennifer Holiday, James Taylor, Aerosmith, Rod Stewart, Cissy Houston, Keith Lockhart, Tramaine & Edward Hawkins, Natalie Cole, and special guest with Harlem Gospel Choir where is sang for Pope John Paul II. <strong>Alexandria Connolly</strong> equates the feeling she gets when she sings to a really good back massage. She is a professional singer with a strong theater background and more than 10 years of experience performing full-time in senior living communities. She’s also spent a decade singing with a big band and performs regularly at weddings and special events. To spice things up, sometimes she even adds a cartwheel to her performances.These days you can catch her singing hits of the 60s and 70s with a baby on her hip.
