Sobre este lugar Singers

Singers is a queer bar at 30 Kosciuszko Street in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. It has a large backyard and runs themed nights. It is a neighbourhood bar rather than a destination club, and it draws a local crowd from Bed-Stuy and the surrounding parts of north Brooklyn. Nearby subway stops are on the G and the A/C lines. We have no hours or event schedule on file. The Google rating attached to this listing does not match the reviews count and may belong to a different business, so treat it with caution. Check the bar's Instagram for current nights and opening times.

I went to Singers with another woman last night and had a really bad experience. A guy who was so intoxicated he was slurring his words and falling off his barstool was talking to one of the bartenders while repeatedly looking over at our table. He stumbled over and started hitting on us. From where we were sitting, it looked like the bartender had pointed us out to him and encouraged the interaction. We told him we weren't interested several different ways, and I eventually had to loudly tell him to leave us alone. Even that didn't work. Not once did anyone ask if we were okay or if this guy was bothering us. We left our drinks and got out of there. This used to be my neighborhood queer spot but you will not see me there again. Update after owner response: He was falling over himself when he walked in, so I’m unclear how serving him a round was necessary to establish that he was drunk when he arrived.

the only gay bar worth going to. they don’t take themselves seriously unlike every other “queer space” in this city 🥰 if you can’t handle it, GET OUT!

the bartenders were nicer to dudes and rude to women. they were also blasting human centipede (a movie i swore id never watch) on the giant screens around the bar. impossible not to see and extremely horrible to be subjected to without any warning. for that alone i am too scarred to go back :/

The drinks were strong, the vibes were interesting. If you’re easily overstimulated, this is not the place for you. Was there when the outdoor area wasn’t open, and inside was loud and dark and strange. It’s not meant to be a typical bar, they had vintage videos playing in the back room which were definitely R rated. I recommend this place if you’re wanting a unique night out that you won’t forget, with good drinks, and maybe some funny stories about the weird bar you went to in Brooklyn!

Came in for a couple rounds & ended up staying for WAY MORE !! Anaury was the most skilled bartender with beautiful welcoming energy and amazing music taste. Literally everyone was talking about how amazing Anaurys music was so we all stayed for HOURS. I love this bar so much, it has the best vibe and everyone was so beautiful and sweet and cool and chill! Will definitely be coming back to dance, drink, vibe and chill. Thank you Anaury for taking the best care of us all night !!!! Love to you !!! You’ve earned new regulars after our first time at this beautiful spot 💗 So tasty and fun !!!

A friend of mine introduced me to this bar a little over a year ago and I keep coming back. They have excellent cocktails at affordable prices and a $8 beer/shot combo. They also run a variety of events throughout the week, including trivia and music concerts in their back shed. In the summers, there’s nothing better than sitting on their large back patio and having a drink and a smoke with a group of friends. The entire staff is friendly and fun and no matter whom I bring there, they always seem to feel welcome and want to return. I should note that this is a queer bar so if you’re more into sports bars or dive bars, maybe try The Swan or Do or Dive just down the road.

I went here on Sunday, March 29th to catch up with friends, and the entire experience was ruined by the bartender, who I believe was named Lane. She was blatantly rude, had an awful attitude, and made it painfully obvious she didn’t want to be there or do her job. We were having a great time until Lane’s hostile and unprofessional behavior completely killed the mood. It’s honestly unbelievable that someone like this is allowed to interact with customers—she shouldn’t be working in hospitality at all. Management needs to address this immediately. No one should be spending their hard-earned money just to be treated this poorly. I will absolutely never come back, and I strongly urge others to avoid this place altogether.

A clubhouse for 20-something mustachio’d/mulleted Bklynites and their exclusive clusters of friends. The crowd is half straight on any given night. If that’s not your scene then you’re not gonna have a very good time here. Every time I’ve gone I feel like I’m crashing a party I wasn’t invited to.

I love bars. this place isn't the move at all. I went there tonight and got pushed by the incoming bartender for the night shift. run don't walk away, what an awful way to spend a Friday... I should have stayed at Do or Dive.
