Excellent location near Downtown, nicely up-to-date, and good security. Would recommend to anyone needing to visit Charleston.

Kimberly the host was very helpful and answered all our questions and exceeded our expectations. Will definitely stay there again if we come that way again. This trip was for our 61st anniversary and our first time to Charleston. Kudos Kimberly

We booked this lodging in a haste based on location and reviews but the Iris did not disappoint!! The other reviews are real and accurate!! We were pleasantly surprised when we got to our room. It was very clean and elegantly decorated. Not to mention, the room was very well furnished and definitely utilized the space well. We even got a gift for being guests there!! Parking was interesting with the contraption they had but it made sense for the area because there’s not a lot of space available. If you have something larger than the standard SUV, it will be difficult to find parking. Make sure you get everything you need from your car but if you forget, it’s not a big deal. Most food places are within walking distance. We will certainly book with the Iris again if we come back or recommend it to friends visiting the area.

If you’re visiting Charleston, do yourself a favor and stay at The Iris Charleston. After two disappointing hotel experiences, finding this place felt like a complete reset, we were genuinely relieved they had availability. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded expectations. The property was spotless, and every staff member we encountered was warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. The location is ideal perfectly situated near great shopping, coffee spots, and restaurants, making it easy to explore the area. Our room was beautifully designed and thoughtfully equipped, with in-suite laundry, a dishwasher, full-size refrigerator, microwave, toaster, TVs, and more! Everything you could need for a comfortable stay. To top it off, we were welcomed with a bottle of wine and a chocolate bar and a handwritten note which was such a thoughtful touch. This stay truly turned our trip around. I couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Very nice place! Me and my husband loved our stay there! Parking was confusing so make sure you get that figured out! User error but heads up.

Great location, spacious, kitchen is nice clean and showers were great. Parking is a lil tricky but once you get parked the first time coming and going is a breeze.

Wonderful place. Easy check in/out. Room is very clean and tidy, decently spacious. Walkable area close to the restaurants and the other amenities. Really great experience with this place. My recommendation.
