I drove here 1.5hr to find out locked gate, called to find out no day passes and cabins booked out 5 months. Went down the road to other hot springs that offer day soaks and rooms.

Epic weekend! This place is so special I hate to give it a good review in fear of prices going up and dates getting booked. Tenzen is ideal for folks who like a quiet getaway. No dogs and no kids make for a peaceful environment. The cabin inventory had everything one needed and the steam shower was fabulous. I can't wait to save up enough money so I can return again.

Nice relaxing cabins! Each cabin has its own hot springs filled outdoor tub. This is an adults only place. Nice and quiet property with beautiful views!

We had so much fun. It’s very private. The steam shower was amazing. I am very allergic to down comforters and pillows and they fixed it asap. Here’s a drone photo I took of a sunset we got to enjoy one of the nights we stayed there. Fantastic job by the owners! Photo by @virtual360media

We just got back from a long weekend at Tenzen. We stayed in cabin 7 which was perfect for us. We got to watch the bunnies jump in and out of the blackberry brambles while enjoying our morning coffee. We saw deer strolling the property a couple evenings too. The geothermal soaking tub was amazing once we figured out we needed to crank the heat. This was the perfect place for us to stay and pop back and forth between Oregon and Washington. Looking forward to staying again soon.

Fantastic getaway. We very much enjoyed opening the bath area doors for scenic nature views while relaxing. Visited in mid spring. Weather was wet off and on and windy (it’s the Gorge) but it only added to the ambiance. Watching the trees sway in the wind and feeling little droplets of rain while in the soaking tub was so serene. The bathing area was screened and covered enough it would be usable in all weathers. Great access to Hood River and the many hiking trails in the area. Re: the trains. We noticed them about every 2-3 hours in the afternoon and early evening. I did not notice them at all overnight (no earplugs). The frequency could be seasonal. They didn’t really disturb us.
