Rose Dynasty Center

The Rose Dynasty Center at 1253 W Memorial Blvd opened in June 2024 as Polk County's first LGBTQ+ community center. It is run by the Rose Dynasty Foundation, whose founder Jason DeShazo also performs as Momma Ashley Rose. It is a daytime resource rather than a social spot. Pineapple Healthcare offers free HIV and STI testing, PrEP, primary care and trans care on site, and the center runs support groups, including sober, 55-plus and trans groups. Google lists it as open Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm and Friday until 2pm. The foundation also puts on drag shows and the Rainbow Roots Festival, held at Lake Mirror Auditorium in October.
