The Saloon

Everybody at Saloon was cool, welcoming, and sweet to me except this ONE security guard who genuinely looked like she woke up furious that other people enjoy life 😭 Me and my friends were laughing and my friend was busy talking to somebody else so I slapped the table ONE time for literally half a second to grab his attention while completely sober. This African-American security guard comes waddling over built like a busted refrigerator with the posture of a twizler and the energy of a bitter substitute teacher on a power trip 💀 Talking to me like I was a child over absolutely nothing while waddling around like she had two left feet. I apologized (for slapping the bar ONCE) Then she storms over to the bartender trying SO hard to get me kicked out over the dumbest thing imaginable and the bartender kept looking back at me smiling like “he’s fine” because everybody with functioning brain cells knew she was being dramatic 😭 everybody that was around me was like what’s her problem. She was just huffing and puffing and rolling her eyes at me glaring like I was her biggest enemy She just would not let it go because she clearly wanted a problem so bad. Honestly it screamed projection. I was sitting there looking young, attractive, flat stomach, good posture, having fun with friends while she radiated pure bloated miserable energy. 💀 Like girl… if happiness irritates you this much maybe working at a gay bar is not the career path for you. I want to emphasize. I was so nice and I only slapped the bar one time, she just wanted an issue with me so bad. I’m 29 and go out to a gay bars almost every weekend and I have never ever had a problem with security until last night. If you’re going through reviews, wondering if you should go to saloon, this is your sign just not to go.

Truly the most overstimulating place I have EVER been in simply due to the music, it’s both weird and awful at the same time? Housemade mashups are really bad as well, the drag shows are nice and the drinks aren’t bad either, writing my review as I’m inside of the bar rn, it’s not worth the literal headache that comes from the 8 different songs played full blast at once

they need to do the meet & greet AFTER the show. or make it earlier. there are far too many people and it makes the actual show start WAY later. if you start scheduling the talent correctly, i will rate this place higher.

Great prices great vibes full of handsome men. No service except at the bar, food served from at the back.
