Red Roof Inn Montgomery - Midtown

Very sketchy. Room was uninviting. Urine stains all over toilet seat and fecal matter left in toilet. Fire whoever is responsible for cleaning the rooms.

The Red Roof Inn in Montgomery is straight-up false advertising. Ain’t no way those pictures on their website are recent—they had to be taken the day they first opened, because what we walked into was a whole different horror story. First off, we pull up and the parking lot looks like a landfill—trash everywhere like nobody’s cleaned it in weeks. Then they really tried it… gave one of our rooms away and had the nerve to say I canceled the reservation. Mind you, I’m standing there with the email in my hand, and he still talking about we only booked one room. Sir… be serious. We didn’t even want to stay, but everything else was booked, so we were stuck. Big mistake. We go upstairs and it just keeps getting worse. The ice machine? Full of mold like it’s been out of order since 2005. The hallway smelled so bad I almost turned around right there. Then we get in the room… and whew. Nothing—and I mean NOTHING—looked like the pictures. The floors looked like they haven’t seen a mop in centuries. The TV? About three channels worked, and even those barely. We ended up going to Walmart just to buy our own sheets, blankets, and pillowcases because there was no way we were touching theirs. And don’t think you’re getting any sleep—people stomping up and down the stairs all night like it’s a club. Honestly, this place needs to be shut down or something. Zero stars, negative if I could. Not one single good thing about this stay. Save yourself the headache and DO NOT book here.

Quiet, romantic and relaxing

I had to check out within 2 hrs of getting there. Roaches are all over the room. Tried sleeping and the roaches were climbing on me while in the bed. Would never recommend this place. Floors were also sticky. The covers had mildew on them. Mattress is very badly stained as well. Disgusting to say the least.

It's okay for a one-night stay

The worst experience I have ever had in all my traveling and work destinations.Thefe was a n extremely large drug activity going on 24!/7.I have never been treated so horrible by a staff member.I will never return to Zeld RED ROOC IN. O. ZELDA IN MONTGOMERY ALABAMA

Very clean room

I had an excellent stay at this motel! The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything I needed for a relaxing visit. The room service was outstanding—quick, friendly, and attentive. Every staff member I interacted with was professional and welcoming. Overall, a great experience and I’ll definitely be returning. Highly recommend!
