Sapphic Fridays is Anthem Orlando’s late-night home for women, femmes, and sapphic energy — a room built for the crowd that too often gets an afterthought slot on somebody else’s calendar. DJ Nani Soul is on sound from 10 PM straight through to 2:30 AM, and the floor stays high-energy all night. If you have been looking for lesbian and sapphic nightlife in downtown Orlando that actually centers you, this is the Friday to put in your phone.

What to expect

DJ Nani Soul from 10 PM to 2:30 AM — a resident who reads the room and keeps it moving, mixing R&B, hip-hop, Latin, pop and dance without letting the energy dip.
A crowd that is actually sapphic — women, femmes, mascs, non-binary folks and their people. This is the whole point of the night, not a themed hour.
21+ with ID — doors run late, so come when you like; the floor usually fills after 11.
Full bar — Anthem’s bartenders are quick, and drink specials run through the night.
Downtown location — right on North Orange Avenue, walkable from the rest of the Orlando nightlife district if you are making a night of it.

About Sapphic Fridays
Sapphic Fridays grew out of a simple gap in the Orlando scene: plenty of LGBTQ+ nightlife, not nearly enough of it aimed squarely at sapphic folks. Anthem gave the night a real Friday slot and a real sound system rather than a back room, and DJ Nani Soul — a fixture in Orlando’s queer DJ circuit — has been the anchor since. The result is a recurring Friday that regulars treat as a standing plan and newcomers tend to walk into alone and leave with a group. Some Fridays bring a themed edition with guest performers; the baseline is always the same — Nani Soul, a packed floor, and a room where sapphic guests are the default rather than the exception.

Anthem Orlando is at 100 N Orange Ave, Orlando, FL 32801, in the heart of downtown. Street parking on Orange Avenue and the surrounding blocks is free after 6 PM in most spots, and the city garages on Central Boulevard and Library Lane are a short walk away.
