Greenbriar Inn

We absolutely LOVED the Greenbriar. What a wonderful old property with such interesting history. Once a convent... and then a brothel! Wow! Anyway, the rooms are quaint, very nice, and definitely not the cookie cutter you get in chain hotels. Be sure to have dinner in their restaurant, the '315 Cuisine'. Tell them you're staying and you'll get a nice discount :) The food is delicious. Come stay during the week in the winter and you may have the entire house to yourself. Enjoy!

First time visiting CDA. There are an abundance of places to stay, especially during the offseason - I chose Greenbriar Inn and I was really glad that I did. Mike was extremely responsive and helpful in accommodating an early check in. He suggested Room 3 and it was perfect - the bed was comfortable and the room was spotless. Grabbed drinks and dinner with a group @ the inn's restaurant, 315 Cafe. Food, drinks and service were incredible - Don't skip the desert. Kelley and the entire staff were awesome!!

Great place to stay if seeking older and quaint! Tastefully updated accommodations, thoughtful amenities. The attached restaurant, 315 Cuisine is so good! Great food, excellent service; our server Justin was the best!

Absolutely one of the best stays I've ever had anywhere. Thoughtful amenities, great location, comfy room, great restaurant. I don't know if it's standard or came with the room but on our stay we also got a $50 gift card to the restaurant. Yes, you should eat there.

Perfect location in Coeur d’Alene for walking the town. Private, quiet, beautiful clean rooms. We were there on a Monday night so it wasn’t busy but we’d definitely book there again. We rented the smallest room (2) and it was definitely tight with all our luggage but they accommodated with suitcase racks. Definitely book here for a more small town feel. Beautiful and unique decor! Getting in and out was very easy and self serve friendly.

Great cozy stay, the only place I would stay in CDA. Great service and fantastic rooms. Do yourself and stay here, eat at crown and thistle for some shockingly good British food, and then pop over to chalice brewing for jazz nights every second and fourth Thursday’s.

The most amazing food and an incredibly stocked bar. The menu selection is small but the entrees are some of the best I have had in my travels all over the world. I am hesitant to say too much, since it has been my guilty secret pleasure and would sad if I were to miss an opportunity due to the limited seating capacity since I travel so far to get there; however, they offer few choices, but master them to perfection. The bar,on the other hand, is extremely diverse and well supplied and the same mantra applies there too.

We stayed in room number 6 and if you don’t mind the unattached bathroom it’s perfect. Great walking distance from downtown and the staff was so nice. Everything was clean and we had a really great time. Would stay again.

There is not much we don't like about this place. It's our home away from home

Came here on my birthday. Best decision ever! The staff was so friendly. The room was stunning. The place was historic and beautiful. So many amenities! They have an amazing restaurant that is a must try! Only reason for the 4 star on the room is because we prefer a softer bed. We are going to tell everyone about this place. Amazing!
