InterContinental Saint Paul Riverfront

The InterContinental Saint Paul Riverfront, at 11 E Kellogg Blvd, is the former Crowne Plaza. Its owner, the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe, reopened it under the InterContinental name in 2025 after a renovation of about 19 months. The 22-storey 1965 tower has around 410 rooms and looks over the Mississippi. It closed briefly on 18 January 2026, citing safety concerns during the federal immigration operation, and reopened in early February. It's a mainstream hotel, not a gay venue. St Paul's one dedicated queer bar, the Black Hart, is on University Ave in the Midway, about 15 minutes west on the Green Line.
