InterContinental Saint Paul Riverfront

Staff was helpful. No complaints. Very comfortable, and centrally located.

We recently stayed at the Intercontinental, for one night stay. Sheree and Germa's help to me was immeasurable. Truly couldn't thank them enough. I hope this gets relayed to them. I would stay here again just for the top notch service. From the directionally challenged mom with the hot baby or as Germa addressed him, the "king".

* edited because the hotel is not truthful in their response. In an email from the sales manager managing the wedding block, the hotel stated that the block was not full and the reason they were unable to honor the rate was because of the website error that inadvertently applied a promotion instead of the wedding rate. I stayed in this hotel for a wedding and was extremely disappointed in the accommodation and the service. The room was dusty and there was pink slime in the shower. When booking the reservation there was apparently a glitch where a “promotion” rate was applied instead of the wedding group rate, and the hotel refused to honor the wedding rate even after the couple contacted them on my behalf. The front desk staff was incredibly rude and dismissive - apparently I was somehow supposed to know that the reservation wasn’t on the wedding block and the manager blamed me for the link/website glitch. I contacted corporate customer service and received no follow up on my case from either the hotel or corporate. I was offered nothing as compensation for the error, let alone an apology from anyone at the hotel or corporate customer service. I’ve had poor experiences at intercontinental hotels in the past and can’t recommend this or any intercontinental.

The staff was amazing and very helpful and friendly throughout the entire stay. The beds were comfortable enough and descent size rooms for being in the city.

We were there for a day for the twin cities marathon. We had done an early booking so got a decent rate. The location was excellent in the heart of downtown St. Paul close to science museum and children museum. The rooms were dated but clean. Found the lighting a lacking as one part of the room. The front desk was pleasant and helpful. Did not use the fitness room or the food at this place. But a good choice to explore Downtown St Paul and good public transport connections to Minneapolis ass well.
