Memory Grove Park (Gay Cruising Area)

Memory Grove Park, tucked into the mouth of City Creek Canyon just north of the Utah State Capitol, is the most frequently referenced outdoor cruising spot in Salt Lake City. The wooded trails along the east side of the creek and the paths heading north have a long-standing, if discreet, reputation, busiest in the warmer months after dusk. It's worth stressing that this is a popular public park used by joggers and families by day, and that Salt Lake City police have historically run enforcement operations here — so discretion, caution and respect for other park users are essential.
