SaMo Pride (Santa Monica Pride)

SaMo Pride is Santa Monica's own LGBTQ+ Pride celebration, held each June since 2019. Rather than a traditional parade, it is a month of small, family-friendly events — Pride on the Promenade, Pride on the Pier, drag storytimes and community gatherings across Downtown, the Third Street Promenade and the Santa Monica Pier — produced by the City of Santa Monica with local businesses. The region's large Pride parades take place a short drive east in West Hollywood and Hollywood, also in June.
