Good place to be especially if you're in recovery. Good people good food! Lots of resources. AA meeting at 4 pm Monday thru Saturday.
I went down there for there computer navigation class. And was amazed at what I saw while waiting for class to start. This is a well run program, I was in a room occupied by people in crisis rather unhoused, mentally challenged, or ex drug addicted, or people just trying to start a new life and needed a network. I was aware of all these characters in people because I to have been all of the above. Anyway these people were treated with respect and dignity. I seen staff come from offices and play cards with clients. The interaction was amazing. There was a small cafeteria and dining area that fed FREE, I was even allowed to eat. It was clean, and organized. The vibe I felt was warm and welcoming. My only ( con ) is parking, there's limited parking space. But that as absolutely nothing to do with there excellent services.
Large community of Friendly people to be there for each other in support of Recovery from Alcohol, Drugs or Mental Illness. Great place to Celebrate Life and Live Well!
One of the few (maybe the only place in Seattle) that goes late in the day for a free hot meal. First time was rice and chicken stir fry second time was shrimp and andouille sausage and rice. Get a second serving. Free coffee, nice and black and strong. Free water. Gotta clean up your place where you sit. Pretty good place.
My home group was founded here it is stop the madness in AA. I eat lunch and dinner here a lot it's awesome. The people here are awesome . Except when they get mad at me because I miss my circle .
