Everything was perfect, food, people and atmosphere. It was our first time to Seattle so I was really taken aback by 20% service charge for two people and on top of that still a line to add tip. I would really like to know if you expect someone to pay additional tip after that default 20%. At that point, it’s probably better for restaurants to increase food pricing and not put the onus on the customer. I preferred enjoying my meal rather than doing mental math for how this money will be distributed.

We stayed in the hotel and had to wait 20 mins for a table for breakfast. When it was 30% full. Reason given… not enough servers or chefs…. Pancakes came out burnt. French toast undercooked. Staff were nice but clearly the owners are not concerned by experience… more profit. Never experienced this in a hotel. Owners… this is really bad. Cannot blame the staff. Avoid.
