Hotel Madera

Great room and good location to walk to nearby stores and restaurants. Hotel was nice and clean and the staff was great. The bed was comfortable and the room was a good size. The only issue that bothered me was the toilet seat. It looked worn out which made it look not clean. If that was replaced, the room would be great. Besides that, I would definitely stay here again.

Within 15 minutes of checking in, I would rate this hotel 6 Stars… the people where great, loved the room and the manager went out of his way to accommodate me just because he overheard a question that I asked of a staff.

I absolutely do not recommend this hotel! After our stay, the deposit was withheld without any explanation. We contacted them multiple times to ask why, but simply received no response. No transparency, no communication, and no service. It is highly unprofessional to hold guests' money without reason and then fail to respond. This inspires little confidence in how this hotel treats customers. Be careful if you book here; you run the risk of not getting your deposit back without a clear reason.

The location of the hotel is great and the rooms are generally spacious and well appointed but the details are troubling. The phone from the room doesn’t actually connect to an operator. The plug outlets are very difficult to access if you want to use the desk. They charge a $30 amenity fee which includes access to unlimited sparkling water which is nice but then the spout was broken on my floor. All in all there is potential here but needs a bit more attention to details and service.
